LOVE! I love this yellow, sunny, first birthday invitation. The sweetest mom contacted me to design a sunshine themed invitation. For some reason, I kept picturing yellow flowers and went straight to designing this invitation followed by more literal sunshine designs. The mom agreed she didn’t originally have flowers in mind, but once she saw it, there was no turning back. She requested some tweaks like the border, which makes it that much sweeter. This is such a special part about about working with clients… when their input adds such a significance to the final outcome. The extremely tight three-color registration still makes me nervous, but it was all worth it in the end.
