Welcome to Sweetly Said Press: Wedding and Event Letterpress Invitations
Welcome to the Sweetly Said Press blog! Sweetly Said Press designs and prints wedding and event stationery as well as everyday paper goods. We specialize in crafting one-of-a-kind designs created just for your event. We love the extra special quality and feel of letterpress that sets it above all other invitations.
Our shop includes an antique Heidelberg Windmill, which is our main equipment, as well as a small Chandler & Price Pilot Press for the small details. Other than the designs we create digitally, letterpress is a handmade process. We hand mix custom inks, print on thick cotton paper, and cut on a guillotine cutter.
Our environmentally friendly practices include recycling and reusing all paper scraps as well as using alternative non-toxic cleaners instead of the typical harsh chemicals. We also offer a variety of green paper products upon request. We think these practices are just good common sense for our home-based shop.
